Our commitment
Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to providing a safe, caring environment where every child is protected from harm.
How we keep children safe
We follow the safeguarding and welfare requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and work with our local safeguarding partnership. Our staff are trained in safeguarding and child protection, and we have clear procedures for recognising and reporting concerns.
Our Designated Safeguarding Lead is Laura Salter. Our full policies (including our safeguarding and behaviour policies, the ones parents most often ask about) are available on request by contacting the nursery.
Ofsted
Rainbow Kindergarten is Ofsted registered and rated Good. Ofsted regulates and inspects the care we provide.
Raising a concern
If you have a concern about a child’s safety or welfare, please speak to us straight away. Contact the nursery on 01652 660362 or hello@rainbowkindergarten.co.uk. If a child is in immediate danger, always call the emergency services on 999. You can also raise concerns about the setting with Ofsted.
